What's blogging?

For me, blogging is more for attention craving teenage girls. But ofcourse there are more interesting blogs, like history blogs. Personally I would never blog myself, unless I am forced to by my teacher. But bloggin doesn't always have to be stupid, like if someone want's to express what they think about something. But when I find a blog with a teenage girl writing about what alcohol she drank this weekend it just makes me wanna kill something. It's pointless and it's stupid. Nobody cares about your day! Maybe your friends do but text them or something instead. Blogging has become an online diary. People write personal things on their blogs, that will get saved and maybe when they need a job when they grow up their boss googles their name and gets the result "Haha, I so cheated my way through that test last friday" or "I copied my essay from the internet" and then the person in question is sort of screwed, it should be used to post something interesting. Not brag about dumb shit. Look at Blondinbellas blog for an example, she was only blogging because she noticed alot of people read her blog, and she started to use that to earn money. I would rather see people using blogs to express opinions in politic manners, or about newspapers or even about the cops arresting someone. If they think that guy is innocent, or if he did it or whatever! The point is alot of people use blogging to get attention. And to some blogging even became an addiction, they skip school to sit at home blogging, or they stop eating to blog and things like that. That's what I think a blog is.
